Please read all chapters before this :)

In short, words like ću are second-position words, so if you have only a verb, it goes first:
Kupit (1) ću (2) kruh.
But if you use some word that goes normally before the verb (a pronoun, an adverb) then it of course takes the 1st place and the verb must be 3rd:
Sutra (1) ću (2) kupiti kruh.
Is is clearer? There are two types of words in Croatian, the first is auxiliary verbs and unstressed pronouns and some particles, they have their rules, and the second is everything else, more or less free.Daniel N.https://www.blogger.com/profile/14585410511935134909noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5891322149855073246.post-44693711746600972242023-08-02T22:50:49.910+02:002023-08-02T22:50:49.910+02:00I'm noticing here and in other contexts that t...I'm noticing here and in other contexts that the ću/će/ćemo can be placed either before or after the infinitive. Is there a rule here or is this a question of style? In the exercise, the answer for "...Hi Daniel,

In the exercise, the answer for "we'll be bored" uses 'će' rather than 'ćemo'. Why's this the case if it is in first person plural? Is it due to the inclusion of 'nam'? Sorry I am just a little confused and will appreciate the clarification.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
